Going Coastal assists marina operators in identifying and implementing pollution prevention services for boaters.

Pollution Prevention Assessment
Marinas request a free assessment for a voluntary review of the marina facility that includes waste strategies to identify needs, help reduce disposal costs, and assist with compliance to regulations.
Project Goals
The goal of Going Coastal’s Green Edges, Blue Waters campaign is to minimize the impact on water quality from marina facility operations and boating activities through a regional outreach program.
Objectives:
1. Building a network of local organizations, marinas, boaters, businesses and individuals to promote clean boating practices.
2. Promoting adoption of measures to reduce waste and prevent pollution from marinas, boatyards, and boating activities.
3. Advancing voluntary compliance with environmental regulations impacting the marina industry.
4. Developing recognition and economic incentives for environmentally proactive marina operators.
