2006 Recreational Manhattan Map for Paddlers (PDF)
This map shows the loran markers for all kayak landing sights as well as the sites one will see while circumnavigating Manhattan Island -- the shores of 4 boroughs and NJ. Staten Island and the Verrazano Bridge, while visible to a paddler from the Battery, are left out due to mapping constraints. All features of the map reflect actual proportions and distances as closely as possible. However, this map is NOT DESIGNED FOR NAVIGATION. Going Coastal New York City A Guide to the Waterfront has more info on kayaking and public attractions on the waterfront in all five boroughs. There are copyright restrictions for reproducing, copying and altering the document without publisher's written permission, however, we are more than happy to provide for free, a 300 DPI printable version for all kayakers. Just drop us a line at info@goingcoastal.org

City Island Walking Map (PDF File)
This map was created with information compiled by a native City Island resident, waterfront enthusiast & history buff Russell Schaller, who often volunteers at the City Island Nautical Museum. The museum is a treasure of a place and not only for the pleasure of meeting Russ.
